ELD initiative: Call for existing case studies and call for proposals

The Economics of Land Degradation (ELD) initiative calls for your possible contributions of case studies for the initiative. The ELD is an initiative for a global study, and aims to make the economics of land degradation an integral part of policy strategies and decision making by increasing the political and public awareness of the costs and benefits of land and land-based ecosystems.

The “ELD Call for existing case studies” is a call for descriptions of existing case studies to be referenced on the map on the ELD website and presented at different ELD related fora. The case studies should be linked to the benefits of sustainable land management and/or the costs of land degradation. Deadline: March 15th.

The "ELD Call for proposals" is a call for proposals for new case studies to be commissioned by the ELD initiative. The call for proposal is open to all involved in the economics of land degradation and/or sustainable land management. Deadline: March 31st.
